Synths, loops and percussion sounds follow the same theme, with the library promising to be the perfect addition to tense, cinematic film and game scores, as well as sitting comfortable in rock, pop and electronic music productions. The third release in the series shifted its focus to low-frequency sounds, offering a huge selection of low brass and woodwind instruments harmonised with cellos and basses performing both long and short articulations.
In an effort to stick with the theme of providing an all-in-one scoring toolkit, the orchestral sections are once again joined by a collection of loops and synth sounds. The result was a more intimate-sounding library that aimed to serve as a perfect starting point for independent films, period dramas and more cerebral music. Albion LoegriaĪlbion Loegria saw the company return to Lyndhurst Hall, but this time capturing a smaller, chamber-sized orchestra. In addition to the orchestral sections, Albion Legacy also contains a range of loops, synth patches and atmospheric sounds, providing a wide range of sound sources designed specifically for modern, hybrid scores. The original Albion library comes packed with orchestral ensemble patches that feature string, brass, woodwind and percussion sections, all captured at AIR Studios’ legendary Lyndhurst Hall. To celebrate the 12th anniversary of the first release in the series, the company have decided to relaunch the original three titles. Each of the libraries in Spitfire Audio’s Albion range were created with the aim of providing composers with an all-in-one package that contained everything they needed to create epic-sounding Hollywood-style film scores.
